the prototype that started it all.

The first prototype of EMG at Remote Physios was far from perfect. It was raw, unstable, filled with technical errors, loose wiring, inconsistent readings, and countless moments of uncertainty. But despite all its imperfections, it worked.

That single moment changed everything.

What started as an idea to make rehabilitation more measurable and accessible slowly began taking physical form on a workbench filled with trial circuits, repeated testing, and continuous modifications. The early prototype was not designed to impress investors or look market-ready. It was built to answer one important question:

Can physiotherapy become more objective, trackable, and remotely accessible through technology?

The answer came through that imperfect device.

Every fluctuation in the EMG signal represented possibility. Every failed test improved understanding. Every correction pushed the vision one step closer to reality. The prototype became proof that innovation in rehabilitation does not begin with perfection. It begins with persistence.

That first working EMG prototype laid the foundation for what would later evolve into the larger vision of Remote Physios — combining physiotherapy, AI, IoT, and remote rehabilitation into one connected ecosystem.

Sometimes the most important breakthroughs begin with devices that barely look complete, but carry a complete vision inside them.
